"In March 1966 HMH-463 was
the first squadron to deploy to Vietnam with the
CH-53.
Now on the 40th
anniversary of that occasion, HMH-463 is once again
headed to war with
the CH-53D Sea Stallion.
The squadron will begin combat
operations in
April of 2006."
