Squadron Areas: Home Reunion Info 2023 Photo #1 Registration		Fort Worth 2025 Heavy Haulers Reunion 2025 Fort Worth - November 18, 19 & 20, 2025 --- All Marines --- Hello All! We have a contract! This is Mike Amtower, We are setting up the 10th biennial Heavy Haulers Gathering in Fort Worth, TX at the Springhill Suites/Stockyards Fort Worth/Historic November 18, 19 & 20, 2025. A few blocks up the street on Long Avenue is the Fort Worth Aviation Museum, where "Patches" BuNo 153715 resides. She is the most popular AC of our 30 at the museum. It is soon to be 57 years , (my how time flies!) since the original 463 folks first left SE Asia. This would involve ALL Heavy Hauler folks from both HMH-462 & HMH-463. Actually, it involves ANY and ALL folks that have ever driven or laid hands on a CH-53 from all eras and any other squadron, Including HMH-362, The Ugly Angels. We would like to exceed the success we have had in the past. We suggest that everyone consider bringing a guest that might not have attended in the past. All Marines and friends of Marines are welcome, also family members of Marines. Consider contacting your local Marine Corps League and American Legion organizations. Fort Worth in late November has marvelous weather. We donated over $1500 to the Semper Fi Fund East & West after the 2023 Gathering. The two dinners are on Wed (11/19) Thur (11/20) I propose $60/ person per dinner as a target. Menu to come. The hotel is redoing its menu selections. We are also requesting a $15 surcharge to help fund the hospitality suite. This charge is only per each squadron attendee. I have reserved a block of 20 rooms at the Springhill Suites Stockyards at $179/nite. Chose the November dates as the room rate was significantly less.
