Every time we have a Gathering, something 'special' happens. Someone will reconnect with another that hasn't been seen in 20 or 30 years. This time it was very special. This pic and the next one represent two people who had a direct connection, but had NEVER met in 50 years.

Dan Ford, we all know how Dan was severely wounded when the turbine section of a 53 engine exploded and the shrapnel ended up in his back.
Dan was returned to the states to recover, and a replacement was requested by HMH-463.
